Continuing Education

PWI offers both CE Credits and Certificates of Attendance. For details about each option please read the following carefully:

Cost: $30 for each CE certificate

Details: CE credits are awarded for in-person, full course attendance only. PWI is not able to award CE credits for distance education courses nor for individuals who are not able to attend each course meeting.

Psychologists: The Process Work Institute is recognized to offer Masters level courses that may qualify for Continuing Education credit for psychologists. It is up to each psychologist to determine if CEUs from PWI will qualify for licensure continuing education.

Counselors: Notice to Professional Counselors: Process Work Institute is no longer an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP), effective October 20, 2016. PWI is not authorized to offer or grant NBCC continuing education credit.

California Students: Our courses meet the qualifications for continuing education credit for Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT) and/or Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (CBBS). It is the responsibility of the student to determine if CEUs from PWI are eligible for continuing education credits.

Please see our current class listings for CE-approved classes and workshops.

Cost: None

Details: A Certificate of Attendance is provided for the clock hour attendance of the course or workshop. Participants must pick these up from the PWI office at the end of the workshop.

Some certification or licensure boards may accept Certificates of Attendance for documenting continuing education requirements. However, many certification boards require the program be pre-registered for CE’s. Please check for classes that have pre-approved CE credits as you must sign up and pay for these in advance (see Continuing Education Credits above). All courses offered at PWI offer a Certificate of Attendance, but only a few classes offer pre-approved CE credits.
