Courses & Workshops Refund Policy

Courses & Workshops Refund Policy

This refund policy applies courses and/or tuition fees that do not include a distinct, course specific refund policy.

Definitions:

  • The term “course” refers to the class or course of study the student has applied and been accepted into or registered and paid for.
  • Course enrollment: A participant is considered to have enrolled in a course when they sign an enrollment agreement, complete and send a registration form, commit to payment terms for a course, or complete the purchase of a course.
  • Course commencement: A course is considered to have commenced on the calendar date the course starts. For ‘evergreen’ courses, or courses purchased after the commencement date, the course is considered to have commenced after the student has enrolled.

Refund Policy: A student is permitted to withdraw during any part of the program in “whatever manner” – in writing, by phone, or in person. A participant who elects to cancel their enrollment within 5 calendar days of enrollment will receive a full refund of all money paid. The 5 calendar days begin when the student signs the enrollment form, or confirms enrollment through email, or tuition/course fee payment.

After the 5 day cooling off period, where the student cancels before the course has commenced, the Process Work Institute may retain a non-refundable admin fee of $150 plus a percentage of remaining tuition/course fee which shall not exceed the following:

  1. If the student cancels within 7 days of course commencement, PWI retains 10% of the refundable tuition.
  2. If the student cancels within 2 days of course commencement, PWI retains 20% of the refundable tuition.

Where the student cancels after the course has commenced, the Process Work Institute may retain a non-refundable admin fee of $150 plus a percentage of remaining tuition/course fee which shall not exceed the following:

  • Student has completed up to and including 25% of the course, PWI retains 25% of the refundable tuition.
  • Student has completed between 25% and 50% of the course, PWI retains 50% of the refundable tuition.
  • After the student completes more than 50% of the course, PWI shall be entitled to retain total course tuition.

The amount of the course completed shall be the ratio of completed lessons, videos, tutorials or other media, to the total lessons, videos, tutorials or other media that make up the course.

In case of a student/participants illness, accident, psychological emergency, death in family and other circumstances beyond the control of the student, the Process Work Institute will give special consideration to the student’s request for cancellation beyond the minimum refund policy.
