COVID DREAMING: a global symptom and how to live with it

Covid DREAMING

An exploration of a global symptom and how to live with it

With Ingrid Rose, Ph.D,  LPC

Everyone welcome – no charge

Monday April 13, 6-8pm and Thursday April 30, 9-11am (Pacific time)

Attend one or both sessions

As the world tries to catch its breath while navigating this challenging time, reacting to both the virus and its effects throws many of us into a whole range of emotions and experiences that are often shocking, new and also perhaps fascinating. As life as we know it shifts our focus, it is easy to get caught in one state of reaction or another; hold one view of reality which may quickly shift into something else.

As well as finding ourselves a target for the global upheaval, lets also access covid-19’s
dreaming for the world by using our skills to discover and integrate aspects of its nature and its message for our present-day global existence. Rather than see it only as a catastrophic symptom, lets discover it as part of our own dreaming and explore ways in which we can pick up aspects of its nature and the qualities and insights it may bring for our individual processes and for the field in which we live.

During these 2 presentations we will have a chance to explore aspects of the pandemic relevant to each of us, including:

  • The message from the creator of the global symptom
  • The nature of the virus itself
  • The meaning for humanity
  • The myth and vision for the planet

Together we can explore individual situations and experiences, effects on our communities and societies, and how we might find some meaning in the events that confront us. We will have an opportunity to work on our own and in pairs through exercises, as well as group discussion.
