Freedom as Necessity: Staying Balanced In Earth’s Revolution of Economy, Environment, and Ethics

Instructors: Stan Tomandl, MPW, PW Dipl & Ann Jacob, B.Ed

Three classes in the series:

Tuesdays April 16, May 14, June 11, 2019

12noon-2pm Pacific Time Zone

Today’s monopoly capitalism was partly built on colonialism, slavery, and genocide; followed by military spending, marketing, planned obsolescence, waste, and many meaningless & destructive goods; all leading to profit and polarization of excessive wealth and poverty, and degradation of our air, water, and soil. The Indigenous Konaway Nesika Tillikum = All Our Relations, interconnection with all of life, carries us to our immense creative potential. As the human animal part of nature, how do we increase our own meaningful action, with awareness and deep love for all creation?

  1. Exploring how our souls relate to our modern economy, leading to greater awareness and choice for living on our planet.
  2. Reconciling inner and outer environments to protect our Earth System.
  3. Being ethically aware and active as we proceed from one earthly challenge to the next.
