Death: Life Before and After

Tuesdays; 9/19, 10/10, 11/14; 12 – 2 pm | Instructor: Stan Tomandl, MPW, PWDipl and Ann Jacob BEd

There is a Celtic word: Anam Aire, literally meaning, intimation of the soul. We will explore soul connections through sensory grounded feedback, both before and after physical death. We will explore using process oriented coma work for states of altered consciousness before death, and dreams, intuition, synchronicity, and quantum connectivity for after death.

We will experience: 1) Deepening into dying now, so that when you ‘die’, you will ‘not die’. 2) Consulting death as an Ally. 3) Keeping the essence of those who have died with us, and traveling with those who have died as they keep us with them.”

Thursdays: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/30, 12/7 & 12/14;  6:30 – 9:00 pm  Instructor: Rhea, MPW

We are challenged today more than ever to create the future we envision for ourselves, our families and our world. Activism is a lifelong path and challenges arise. Conflicts happen in teams and organizations. We may deal with burnout and hopelessness when facing big systems that do not easily change. How do we create resilience and sustainability for the long haul?

• Get to know yourself as an activist and the deep vision behind your activism
• Learn to draw on your deepest strengths to sustain you in conflict, burnout, or feelings of not being enough
• Learn skills for sustainable relationships
• Grow your ability to work with escalation and strong reactions
• Learn steps for conflict facilitation
• Develop your ability to facilitate difference
• Learn how to work with rank, privilege and intersectionality
• Learn skills to look after yourself and the whole group

Rhea and Elva are faculty at the Process Work Institute. Melissa, Dana, and Marissa are all graduates of the PWI facilitation masters program. We are all activists with a diversity of life experiences ranging from queer identities to plant medicine to intuitive healing. Our ages range from 27 to 70! We are moved to this work by a larger sense of wanting to create sustainable change and transformative healing. We welcome you to join us!
